Questions about the SERP analysis
Why one keyword instead of a whole list?
Because here you go into the depth. A list tells you which position you hold, this analysis shows the full playing field for that one term: who ranks above you, which blocks Google displays and how much room is left for an ordinary search result.
What all appears on a results page like that?
Much more than ten blue links. Depending on the query, Google shows an AI answer, a featured snippet, map results, ads, videos and the questions people also ask. All those blocks push the first ordinary result further down.
And what if I'm not in the top 10?
Then that is already the answer, and you get to see who is there. It is often more useful to see what kind of page Google rewards there than to know your own position: a webshop page, a blog article or a comparison site each calls for a different kind of answer from you.
Do the results differ by location or device?
Yes. Google does not show the same thing everywhere, especially not for queries with a local intent. We measure for the market you search in, so the picture matches what your customers actually see.
