1. Cookies and comparable techniques
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Besides cookies we also use your browser's local storage, which works the same way and falls under the same rules. Where we write "cookies" below, we mean both.
Some of them are necessary to make the site work. Others are only placed with your consent. We use no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no trackers that follow you across other websites.
2. What exactly we store
Necessary, always present
These are needed to make the site work. They require no consent, because without them the site does not behave as you expect.
- cookie_consent - your choice in the cookie banner. Without it we would have to ask you every single time. Kept until you erase it or change your choice.
- language - the language you chose, so you do not have to switch on every page.
- account-theme, report-theme, admin-theme, admin-nav-collapsed - your display preferences in the console and the report: light or dark, menu open or closed.
- Your login session - only if you have an account and sign in. It keeps you signed in between visits and disappears when you log out.
Analytical, only after your consent
- _ga and _ga_<measurement id> (Google Analytics 4) - measure in aggregate how many visitors there are, which pages they view and how they reach the site, so we can improve it. These cookies last 2 years at most. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all: no request goes to Google. Google Analytics only measures our public pages: the customer console, the admin and a stored scan report stay out of it. And we do not allow Google to use advertising storage or ad personalisation, not even if you accept the marketing category.
- _clck and _clsk (Microsoft Clarity) - record how you use a page: where you click, how far you scroll and where you get stuck. Microsoft turns that into a recording of your session, which we review to improve the site. What you type, e-mail addresses and numbers are made unreadable on your own device before anything is sent, and the customer console and the admin are not recorded. We do not allow Clarity to use advertising storage, so Microsoft places no advertising cookies here. Without consent, Clarity is not loaded at all: no request goes to Microsoft.
Spam protection
- Cloudflare Turnstile - protects our forms against abuse. When you submit a form it may briefly place a technical value on your device to check you are not a robot. It does not follow you across other websites and shows no advertising.
3. Managing your consent
On your first visit our cookie banner asks for your choice. You can adjust or withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, analytical measurement stops immediately.
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage yourself in your browser settings. If you delete everything, your language choice and your cookie choice go with it, and the banner will ask again.
4. More about your data
How we process personal data, who we share it with and how long we keep it is described in our privacy policy. You will also find your rights there and how to exercise them.
5. Changes
We update this cookie policy when our cookies or the regulations change. The date at the top shows the last change.
